Woohooo, The wind was here in Ynyslas, so seeing as my small wave board is broken and I can't fit under the barrier into the car park I decided to sail from the Lifeboat Station where the wind would be a little less (20-25 knots rather than 25-30 knots) and there are no height restrictions. The waves are better down that end of the beach as well so I was hoping for a nice wave-riding session.

I went out all on my own perfectly powered with my big wave board and 5.7m sail. I was maxed out right ou the back, but perfectly powered elsewhere so had a perfect session blasting around and jumping off the waves. I had a few little wave-rides, but for some reason it just wasn't working properly as far as the wave-riding was concerned.

Still good to get an eveving session in and good to see lots of wind. I've just checked the weather station and the wind eased off loads just after I got off the water. The chart shows it going from around 25 knots toabout 5 knots over the course of 20 mins so I'me glad I caught it before it disappeared.. Looks the same again for tomorrow as well.
